Mario Pizano Aviles is an Accounting Associate at ExpertPays, where he supports the accounting team with the focus, reliability, and curiosity that first made him stand out as an intern through Cristo Rey St. Viator’s Corporate Work Study Program. A Las Vegas native, Mario brings a strong local connection to the team and a genuine interest in learning how disciplined processes help organizations run smoothly.

Now joining ExpertPays while attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Mario is studying Criminal Justice and has a passion for law and law enforcement. His long-term goal is to become a detective, a career path that reflects his interest in problem solving, attention to detail, and understanding how facts come together to tell a complete story.

Before working with ExpertPays, Mario spent time with the Boy Scouts of America, where he gained experience with process, retail management, and customer-facing responsibilities. That background helped him develop a practical appreciation for organization, follow-through, and the importance of steady execution in a busy environment.

Outside of work and school, Mario enjoys spending time with his older sister and two younger brothers, going to movies, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. A lifelong fan of superheroes, from comics to movies, he has always been drawn to stories about courage, justice, and doing the right thing. He also enjoys the energy and creativity of Las Vegas’ First Friday Art Festival and spends time at home with his pet cat and two fish, one red and one blue.
