Kate Anderson is an Accounting Associate at ExpertPays, LLC, where she supports the company’s accounting operations through reporting, transaction tracking, and financial analysis. In her role, Kate helps monitor and understand the many financial transactions taking place each week, bringing accuracy, curiosity, and attention to detail to work that supports ExpertPays’ continued operational strength.

Kate has been part of the ExpertPays team for two years, working part time while pursuing her studies in Physics and Chemistry at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. A self-described science, technology, engineering, and mathematics enthusiast, Kate brings an analytical mindset to her work and enjoys approaching complex information with precision and structure.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Kate also has a unique familiarity with the legal community. Her father is a litigation attorney in Las Vegas, giving her early insight into the inner workings of law firms and the professional environment ExpertPays serves. That perspective helps her understand the importance of reliability, organization, and responsiveness in supporting attorneys and their case related financial needs.

Outside of ExpertPays, Kate is deeply engaged in hands-on scientific research. Her current academic work focuses on foundational research related to energy needed to break the molecular bonds of heavy metals and yes, she has even worked directly with uranium in a controlled research setting! She especially enjoys being on the front line of research: executing experiments, working hands-on in the lab, and helping make science happen.

In her spare time, Kate enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and reading a good science-based fiction novel.
